Yah, I noticed this too. I hypothesise The Event happened somewhere around the start of 2006/7 season. Very mysterious.

Maybe it has something to do with the timetable being altered to be so inconvenient. But not sure where 3000 passengers come from! Mostly farms around and nearest villages (Three Oaks and Winchelsea) have their own stations.
